What is Centre Stage?

Centre Stage is the subsidised rural touring scheme for Leicestershire and Rutland supported by Arts Council England East Midlands and the local authorities at County and District level.

Centre Stage offers opportunities for professional live touring to village and community venues. Touring companies and artists with regional, national and international profiles who specialise in work for small spaces tour to venues across Leicestershire giving a fantastic night out on your doorstep!

These tours include a wide range of high quality, diverse work including theatre, music, opera, dance, storytelling, children's and puppet theatre, comedy and cabaret with members of the local community hosting the event. A warm welcome awaits you at all our local venues!
