Stories from around the World for younger children and their families

Come into the Story Tent where we will open the magical bag of stories and share a patchwork of tales. We weave together the Chinese story of The Magic Paintbrush and other fantastical tales from Poland, Africa and India. Storybag2 is full of visual inventiveness, humour, live music and song, incorporating physical theatre, participation and puppetry.

Storybag2 is also supported by a post show drama workshop to encourage and excite young children and their families to make and share stories of their own and to revisit characters they met in the show. The workshop is tailor-made for the participants and lasts between 30-60 minutes, as an integral part of the event.

Vamos Theatre is a company based in the West Midlands making work for young people and families with flair and imagination.
